Force India and Ferrari part ways

Force India today announced that it has ended its contract with Ferrari.

The agreement signed in 2007 also provided for a supply of engines in 2009, but will now terminate ahead of schedule at the request of Force India.

The team are now expected to announce a deal with McLaren Mercedes for the supply of the complete drivetrain (the FO 108V Mercedes engine and the McLaren seven-speed gearbox) and is also expected to include the McLaren KERS system.
